Common Good Clay creates playful statement jewelry for change makers that sparks conversation, inspires imagination, and advances the good of all. 15% is donated to nonprofits advancing social justice. Sales are currently benefiting Critical Resistance to support their work abolishing the prison industrial complex. All of the earrings are handmade by Marisa Martini in her home studio in Kalamazoo, MI.

Marisa is a self-proclaimed handmade market fanatic who has always gravitated toward handmade jewelry. In 2019, she decided to try making her own jewelry and immersed herself in learning about polymer clay. She quickly became obsessed with the lightweight, versatile material, made more earrings than she knew what to do with, and launched Common Good Clay in July 2019. Her inspiration comes from modern patterns, playful shapes, and joyful colors. When she's not making earrings, you can find her biking, taking pictures of her 3 cats, or at her day-job as a Program Manager for an affordable housing nonprofit in her local community.
